I'm out this time. In Alaska over the weekend of 23rd/24th. Sounds like a great ride. Hope to join you next time.

It sounds like there will be others on big bikes. I will be on the 750, and Kimberly will probably ride with the bike bikes on her DR350.

We are in...but I don't want to contribute any brightly colored plastics for the imitation campfire.

Just found out I have mandatory training for work out of town so I will have to cut out early on Sunday. But I'll be there Friday and Saturday!

Yes.

I looked at the area using Google Maps with the satellite feature turned on.

https://www.google.com/maps/@37.0712...!3m1!1e3?hl=en

Basically take Hwy 168 northeast, then turn east on Dinkey Creek Road (paved) just before the community of Shaver Lake. Stay on that for about 11 miles, then make a left on Rock Creek Road (paved). Go about 1/2 mile, and you're in the general area where Hesaid & Shesaid will be setting up.

There are a few dirt roads leading back into the trees on either side of Glen Meadow Creek. You should be able to get the RV in there, or at least within 100 yards of the group.

Watch for signs, though, because they may set up somewhere else in the vicinity.

Lens compression. OEM 17"/17"

I may be up for the Dusty if Kimberly wants to sit out and lend me the DR. More likely, she'll tell me to sit out.

Aprilia lists dry weight at 410 lbs, but I've shaved some of that by getting rid of the huge car-like muffler. (I even made spark arrestors for it, by the way, which I will have in place for this trip.) It only holds 3 quarts of oil and 3.2 gallons of fuel, so the wet weight should be around 425 lbs.

I bet you could lose another 10-15 pounds by going to one front brake rotor...
