Got home about an hour ago. Tired and sunburnt but had a great time. WSBK is thrilling to watch in person and up close.

How was the crowd? Decent turn out?

Nice weather. More people than last September but not a big crowd as MOTO GP has had, not even close.

No traffic, way less venders/manufactures displays

^^^ What he said. Saturday crowd was much larger than Saturday last fall (which had one WSBK race). Sunday was maybe 1/2 the size of a MotoGP Sunday crowd. Less vendors and hospitality. Upside was you could see much more of the track without vendors lining the fence between turns 2, 3 and the entrance to 4. Same for Turn 5 without all the big hospitality tents there. Weather was perfect. Access to the WSBK teams and fan press conferences were a nice touch. Crowd should have been bigger.

Bummer for all the AMA races because no broadcast meant no jumbotron or monitor viewing anywhere. The AMA announcers could only discuss what they could see from their position. Very frustrating from a fan point of view. The big screens and monitors showed the World Cup final instead of racing.

Yeah, thats in the first post in this thread. I was pointing out how the AMA Pro Racing dispute even in impacted ticket buying fans at the track. Another decision by AMA Pro Racing I find indefensible.

There is very little "pro" in AMA Pro Racing.

I saw the hole thing

I was a corner flagged at turn seven, but got to see tony Elias crash at the corkscrew and then refuse to leave the hot track, causing a red flag.
He kept swatting the hands of the bike handlers trying it get the bike and him out of harms way, so the corner workers let go of the bike, it tipped over and broke the left clip on, and he got dinged 2 world championship points for giving the track Marshall's so much grief..
It was super funny watching his little arrogant butt denied by my fellow Marshall's..

Cool! Some friends and I were flagging down in 10. The only action we saw was our psycho crew boss barking at us.
Good times!

DMG stiffed Dorna for coverage at the last MotoGP race, 2 years ago.

I would so love to see Dorna move in and start a new series in this country. In spite of all the things Dorna does that I hate, I'd still like to see them drop-kick DMG right outta the sport. World-wide Superbike rules.

Then we'll have a new boss to bitch about.
