Hi Davo,

Why flog it when you plan on having both?

I've always loved the old ZX10 and when this one came up, I jumped at it.

It might not be everyone's favourite bike of the 80's but that can sometimes be a good thing.

I had my red & black '88 model for 13 years. only had 6k on it when I bought it in Dec '92. Had 2 GPZ900 before. The ZX10 was a better bike in every respect on the road. One of the "should of kept it" bikes

I'm really impressed with it so far, DD. It will easily scare you with the power delivery or happily cruise along at 50 in top gear. Its smooth and stable and just fun to ride, I like it.

Pretty hard to fault the ZX10. Well done Nev .

I had one and it was/is probably the most comfortable and one of the most powerful bikes I've ever had Handled like a dream too

I very nearly bought an immaculate import several years ago, was going to fly to Sydney to ride it back but ummed and arghed for too long and it went ...

Tomorrow will be 1 of the hardest days in my life. Am making a mercy dash to Brisbane to see my ailing grandma she's 95, it might even be too late by the time we get there.
knowing that if she is still awake when we get there , when we do walk out it will be for the last time

That's tough
95 is a good age and I hope that she had a happy healthy life till this time. Try to remember all the good memories that you have of her.

it is a good age mate and she has had a good reasonably healthy life up until the last couple of years age has caught her up.
She is semi conscious as I type this, that is the hard part is she will not know we are there or even know who we are so that will be hard to take. I am torn between not going and going to say my last good bye. I never got to say a final good bye to my other nana when she finally passed away but I got to have some time privately with her the morning of her funeral, she never got 2 see 1 of her great great grand kids, so I took my youngest boy in with me as he was too young to know anything but to me at least she got to see him.
Unfortunately it is 1 of the unpleasant parts of life.

I was away on my North West trip in June, dad was crook before I left, my brother and I got a feeling that we needed to get back quick. As soon as we got in to phone range we both had messages, so we got a move on and got back in time for him to know we were there, 48 hours later he was gone. For his final 36 hours he was in a coma, but the comfort that it gave me to have seen him before he went is irreplaceable.
