Had a blast riding this track, great job! The sporty gravel on part 2 made the trip My buddy who is new to off road and gravel really enjoyed it as well. He was smiling ear to ear. Kinda sucks that it's 82 miles each way to get from my place to Dixon but it's worth it for a nice day ride. Thanks again for posting this route

To anyone doing this track be sure to check out the two Fjord water crossings in White Pines State Park on the route if the water's not too high.

Crossed that on a GSXR. Thing would slide to the side about a foot from end to end of it... water rolling up in front of the fairing like a snowplow... did not repeat this experiment, except in the other direction to get out of there!

Park Visits

As much fun as the Pine Creek fords in White Pines Park are other parks are worth a visit if you have time. The Indian statue in Lowden Park right now is surrounded by safety fence as damage over the winter has the risk of concrete chunks falling off but it's still worth a stop. Lowell Park in Dixon has several one lane sporty roads through the park with some great views. Also Lowell Park has the Woodcote stone and timber cottage to see. Glad to see people making use of this track.

I took my cruiser down to Dixon. I had a good ride. Next time I'll have to take the V-Sttom.
