Lol.

THAT is some funny shit.
I spend about an hour a day thinking, should I sell my 950sm and buy a fz09 or a 1290sd?

Or just keep the 950?
It's probably the bike I most frequently read "Why in God's name did I sell that bike?" On the ktm forums.
And I do love it. It's amazing. I just have bike adhd.

This morning, on a perfect day, I rode by an F150 with a Harley hitch receiver plug and thought, I sure see a lot of HD hitch covers. And they're the only brand I ever see.

I see Harley stickers in the back windows of F150s every day on my commute to work on my VFR800.

I didn't think that could evolve in to a bandwagon hate parade, but fine lemme even it out: The other day I saw some supersports barely being leaned over in the turns, with the operator counter leaning. Yet they were showing everyone how great they were at wheelies, even demanding their attention before performing.

Jumping to conclusions? How is it "bashing" when someone reports they saw HD items on trucks? I see a lot of them too. It is rarer to see a Kawasaki, Suzuki, or Yamaha sticker/hitch cover on a vehicle. I just think it shows how pervasive advertising is in our culture, for better or worse.

I work with a guy with a giant HD sticker on his back windshield of his minivan. Come to find out, he hasn't owned a motorcycle since 1998.

I just want to know why I can buy a HD edition Ford, but not a Triumph edition Dodge. Car companies are missing a huge market share by limiting their branding.

I saw some guy doing jackass things on his sport bike a while back on the 52 Freeway in Santee, CA. He damn near killed himself by not paying attention and drifting quite close to the edge of the roadway. He was going slow enough that I managed to pass. I gave him a big thumbs DOWN and a head shake. Thumbs up/waving/attention is what they seek.

You realise guys like that crave any attention - good, bad, it's all the same to them. Far better to ignore them, No headshake, no thumbs down. Just ignore them.

Yeah, that is a better option. Either way, it was at least disapproval. The way he was doing it, it looks like he was trying to show off to my friend and I (both on Ninja 500's and in leathers).

More power to ya if the highway's clear and you've got the space. Have at it. But pulling along side cars, waiting for them to look over, and then doing it is not cool, especially when it's a full grid.

As for the branding, I'm surprised another truck company hasn't tried to partner up with a big name dirt bike company. A lot of HD owners seem to own trucks, and so do a lot of dirt bike guys.
