CALLING ALL COS FFs!!

I need a good place to take my folks for dinner tonight. My Mother, is a veggie, don't judge!! LOL!

Looking for something different, with a light atmosphere, good drinks, and of course, good food! I know someone here has to have a suggestion. Right now, we are looking at Adam's Mountain Cafe in Manitou. It caters to veggies mainly, but they seem to have some real food options as well.

Any ideas will be appreciated!

Thanks!!

I've never been to Adam's but hear they have good food. That might be your best choice.

Hey John, thanks! That is where we ended up, and it was good! Very veggie friendly, and their food has enough flavor that even a carnivore such as myself enjoyed it! I had the mac and cheese, with jalapenos and chicken breast, which would have been good without the chicken....YUM! The rolls were a little disappointing, cold, dense, and high in fiber, but everything else was very good! Mom was happy, and that's really all I wanted!

Mamma Pearls Cajun Kitchen

SWMBO and I had a late lunch at Mamma Pearls Cajun Kitchen today - Delmonico X Rockrimmon. Fantastic. Most places try too hard to make it Cajun and way overdo the spices. This was just right. Not greasy. Not salty. We were both very impressed. SWMBO says their pralines are even better than Aunt Sally's in NOLA ~ and for her to say that is really something.

Had a brief chat with the owner/chef. Moved here after Hurricane Katrina. Down to earth, no pretense. Nice guy. We'll be back . . . and will try to get some of the rest of the gang to go with us.

Plenty of gluten free options as well.

Sounds great! I love Cajun Cuisine, so I will definitely be checking it out!

We have friends from out of state in town this week, so I'm out once again!

Late night last night....I'm getting too old for this shit!

Enjoy guys!

I'm planning on hitting up the CMTRA meeting this week. See if things have spiced up any with the election of a new President.

Yeah, turns out that I'm out too. I need to paint my house more than I need to go out to dinner tonight.
