One thing I know about NC that is not true for GA is that when the current owner signs the title over to you, it should be notarized.

Can't really recommend my agent as I have no clue how he stacks up against any others. You can find a lot of info getting online quotes. Some are notably cheaper than others.

As far as getting the title notarized, this IS the case in NC like the person above stated.

There are a couple folks on here in the Rockingham area that will likely chime in about the dealer in question.

The Notary seal is not a big deal. Either the dealer will have someone there who can notarize.. or you can get it done at any bank, tax preparers, realty office, and some copy shops

Dealer can also provide recommendation for insurance and assist with title and tag paperwork. If not - check other dealers in region.

Thumb Sportcycles

I have bought a used bike from them, had inspections done there, ordered parts in person and on-line from them and just stopped in to shoot the breeze with them. Good prices, and I've always been treated kindly whether I was buying or tire kicking. I have dealt with Keith in sales and found him to have an awesome memory and great to deal with.

Best of luck.
