Routesheets now up on KB for those without a sheep: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...post1130758263

If you keep an eye out along the way you'll probably be able to pick up a sheep on the side of the road somewhere. If you ask one of the locals at the Matawai pub how they mount their sheep you'll no doubt get some friendly advice on fitting it up to the BMW

Cheers
Clint

I found mine on the side of the road - don't recommend them as they break in half pretty easy....the stop function worked pretty well though

Jeez, you flash harry Aucklanders & your fancy bling... I prefer the old school way... with a couple of ewe bolts

In other news, the long range weather forecast looks terrible...

Sounds like you'll be taking the long way up - Desert Rd & Waiouru-Ohakune closed at present.

Ride safe everybody!

Hey Wade, I came over late this afternoon. There's a dusting of snow on the hills, but not on the road. The 1stt couple of big climbs have been gritted. Provided there isn't any big snow fall o'night you should be sweet.
