That implies it's a commuter bike. I called it a touring bike, myself.

    Both?

    All?

I used to road race, and that same bike was my touring bike, commuter, cafe bike. It was also my only bike... :D

Nasser might have won Hungy Baha on the weekend in the Overdrive Tojo (fourth different vehicle make/test drive in as many weeks :evil) but the middle east mercinary did so with a kamikaze-like inspired driving effort that had poor Mattias his co-dawg looking for the emergency exit sign on numerous repeated occassions... according to reports from the scene. :eek1:lol3

Meanwhile the 2 x X-raid MINI's tagged along in their normal stormtrooper style to place 2nd and third. There were a couple of customer girls cars also there... as well as the SthAfrica Ford Rangers, various Overdrive toyota pick-ups, even a new looking (dual cab Sth Africa design inspired) Chevy pick-up (dualcab mid size pick-up are the new DAKAR short black dress it seems...? :D AND also the latest re-incarnation of the HSX Lancers... so plenty of DAKAR teams racing and testing.

Meanwhile in da' You Ess of Eh..? Rubbie Gordini was in between Casino's at the Venus 2 Rego Bust in the Desert race, to give the Girls hummer a shakedown run in race conditions. Qualifying 8th quickest amongst the Toffe Trucks, he ran hard (like what's new? :lol3), suprising many how capable the restricted Dakar curiosity was against the unlimited big american iron... until just under half race distance, when he found the limits of the gearbox input shaft... all in a day testing for dakar 2015 the team claim philosophically. :D

The arms race is escallating for Dakar 2015... Toyota, MINI, Gordini, PUGEOT and FORD seem to all be putting in the hours... :1drink

And still about Hungarian Baja, Zanotti won with his beautiful TM DKR 450, in front of Ruoso who was faster but got lost on the last day due to bad weather moving/erasing the course fences:eek1 Just hope to see Ruoso in one of the next Rally Raid, like Merzouga or Morocco:deal

I am still not completely clear if TM will run in Dak15. I have heard mixed responses in that, although TM is positive.
Have not heard anything from the Boano racing camp as well, they were looking for a rider a while ago, but they are quiet now.

Anybody having any other news? :ear
    Till later,
    D.

well it's mid august here... you should now (even if looks much more like mid october, weather speaking :dog).
So far I have no idea who has got a "good news" letter from Aso, for sure only Matteo Casuccio, the guy who had his ex-Laia Sanz Gas Gas stolen, as he wrote it on his fb page
