Dual Sport/Adventure ride 22 November 2014
The Trail Riders of Southern Arizona's annual Charity ride to raise money for the Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Face Book "there will be Dust"
Ride headquarters is the Cow Palace restaurant in Amado AZ.
Motels/RV / camping near by. Lots of attractions for spouses and others.
Saturday meet and greet 4 PM to 6 PM at the Cow Palace. Drawing for assorted not yet defined prizes.
Sunday breakfast beginning at 0600, launch at daylight. Lunch provided on the trail.
Very flexible route with options to return on bladed graded and pavement or ride your heart out for up to 150 miles of stunning vistas and amazing scenery.
minimum suggested donation is $50. That includes Breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
registration link info and flyer will be posted soon. AMA sanctioned/insured. need not be an AMA member. but hey, have you heard about there Towing benefit for all your vehicles?
Did proof of concept ride today: looks like Gas at 55 and again at 95/120 ish. We rode 500 KTM's today. Next weekend we will ride big bikes (KTM 950 and BMW R100GS) and check it out from that perspective.
Worth a trip. This ride is set up so you can tourist on Sat, We have stuff like the best aviation museum in the world, a missile silo you can tour and a mine tour, as well as kicking around Tubac, Tumacaori, Patagonia and Nogales.
People have compared this riding to Baja before it got whooped out.
