The event has also arranged for some very convienent camping: about one mile away from one of the stages, about three miles away from registration.

It's primitive (no power, just some port-a-johns). $50 for the whole weekend, which is going the local ATV club which supports the rally. Volunteers will be camping there free, if you're recruiting volunteers, which you should be. :)

Racing is up in the air at this point but I will volunteer if I cannot race.

I'm registered

Anything specific I might not think of as a first timer for this event? I've read the rallymoto FAQ and added some big LED lights for the night stages.

Make sure you bring a digital watch with decent night time backlighting. anything will work...just need something to track your time for check points and services etc.

This is a fall event so dress accordingly...watch the weather

Oh Yeah! This is good! Just don't totally show up having ridden to the event, as well as kick my ass, ok?

And then there's Seasider, who also recently acquired one :) soon you guys will see the light! Haha!

Now, to look into that lighting thing all over again...

Dan, you're welcome to ride the Baja Airhead. It's ready to go. <~

Cool2 Night Rider!

I found some lights in the garage. Quick and dirty wiring job this evening and it's good to go. It should provide a little more lighting for the night stages.

unfortunately no rallymoto for me this year. This weekend conflicts with my moose hunting trip. I'll be itching badly for rallymoto next year though! Best of luck to all these are some awesome roads to rip up on a bike!

I'll be heading North to BRS from the Cincinnati area with an extra seat and wheel chock in the sprinter if anyone is interested.

Tempting. I told myself I have too many other rides planned this fall but splitting logistics makes this this one easier to squeeze into the budget.
