The ONLY even slightly tricky part with that curve is that its slightly decreasing radius going up hill, and I mean slightly.....did I mention the WHOLE THING is banked favorably?

Yeah.

Take the 101 to Route 27, hop off there and head south, about 4-5 blocks in you will see Mulholland Drive bang a right follow that past the Rock Store and into the state park, you will notice that it starts getting REALLY tight, that curve is about 2 miles max past the park entrance.

Stay on that road you can follow it back to the PCH between Malibu and Ventura, which is scenic, boring but scenic right along the water.

Sweet. I wanted to see the rock store while there. Very convenient. I'll try not to crash

well.... you're not wrong. But like many things ADV, if you persevere and keep going, things eventually get better and you're rewarded

and no going north aint that bad either

pretty much anything near an urban area in California is a big turd

No doubt, but it sure is nice to be able to quickly leave the big turds in the rear view mirror and find excellent riding.

Follow this path and you miss 90% of the good stuff

Find Piuma Rd/Stunt Rd/Decker Canyon/Latigo Canyon/Little Sycamore/Encinal Cyn

Mulholland above the Rock store is great and Tripped1's directions will get you right there ... But the best riding is elsewhere. Once you've done that section and checked out the scene at the Rock store. Find some of these other roads.

And if you have the time. The Crest (and surrounding area)is heaven on earth.

Went to the rock store today, via latigo canyon road. Mulholland was pretty tame, verging on lame in comparison. It was neat to see all the different bikes and cars stop in.

I bounced all over the roads yesterday and mostly had a great time. There was one buzzkill in an SUV that drove 10 below the speedlimit and refused to pull over at the turnouts...dickhead.
