20th Annual Savannah BMW Riders Rally

Ride on down to Savannah and enjoy traditional "Low Country Boil"

December 5 -7, 2014 - Tybee Island, GA

The Savannah Rally is proud to announce we are again staying at the Dunes Inn and at the same prices as last year!!

This is a motel rally, no camping , no fees other than the meal Saturday night. If you've never had the pleasure of visiting Savannah, GA, this is the perfect time to do it. The weather will be beautiful, and downtown Savannah and Historic River Street are about 20 miles from Tybee Island.

Friday night will be the Meet & Greet at Sting Ray's next door to the Dunes Inn. Saturday we'll start meeting at the same place as in the past, the YMCA Cafeteria behind City Hall around 5 - 6 pm and plan on eating around 7 pm.

The price of shrimp has been very high recently but as of now we have no idea if the higher prices will hold or if they'll fall back to normal high prices... We're looking at $30 a person but keep in mind this could change.
Please spread the word!!

If you need additional info, contact me, JERRY DUKE, jerry dot duke at gmail dot com

Search Facebook for "IBMWR Low Country Boil" group for updates to the rally

to be IN or not to be IN?

The question is.... Can I get the airhead running in time?

I was going to say if you rode an airhead I'd ride an airhead but thank goodness it looks like I won't have to now.

BTW, anyone else thinking about this, I'm working up a dirt route from here to there, may as well make a mini-adventure of it. About 80% dirt and for the most part big bike friendly.

I went to the low country boil once back in the 90's and it snowed that weekend just north of Savannah, coldest I've ever been on a bike. Stopped 3 times on the way home and ate Krystals to try and stay warm.

Shouldn't be a problem (you'll be fine), really!

Cool. Several of us have ridden about half of it in the past and I just drew up the rest, so will be partly flying blind but should be good.
