I never get the "no lowballers" warning. I want all offers, including the lowballers, since I often wind up selling to one of the sunsabitches. (excepting any and all ADV inmates to whom I've sold a bike, of course.)

If it sounds too good to be true, it prolly is. Or maybe Urals just depreciate faster than the average bike:
http://pensacola.craigslist.org/mcy/4661371530.html

Yeah I know it doesn't come with a sidecar, but does the hack add that much value? I guess so. But $3800 for a 2500-mile, like new 2011 Ural sounds like a steal. I notice there are no pics of the right side...hmmmmm

Left side looks sound as a pound

Hiding something, who takes a bunch of pics of the left side only?

I have heard about how slow those things are, I would never own one based on that.

While camped out at Willville Motorcycle Campground back in June, I talked to a Uralista who told me his Ural would go 55 all day long, 65 for a little while, and 75 once. He said the Ural experience was all about slowing down and enjoying the scenery. Hey, I can dig that--but there also comes a time to put the hammer down and haul the mail, and Urals just ain't up to the task. Not only that, they seem to break a lot. The rider I met this summer had 3 separate major warranty issues within his first year of ownership--engine, transmission, and final drive problems--but he said they did right by him and fixed his shit up quickly. I asked him, so ya gonna keep it for a while? He says, I guess so, it's a lotta fun and chicks really dig it. He wasn't a young fella by any means, prolly 50 or so, and said the Ural was a good way to pick up younger women. I guess the sidecar is a major attraction

OK, back to CL finds: I'm no vintage collector, but for those that are, $1250 seems like a helluva deal on an original, one-owner, running '65 Super Cub...

I always thought they looked a little ghey, but what do I know? I'm just a random dipwad.
