A++ dealer/ Matthew Wiley & Moto-Services
Almost everyone has a negative story about trying to buy something, either a bike or some accessories from either a dealership or getting ripped off through the Internet or an eBay scam. I want to share my experience with an eBay seller / web based dealer, Matthew Wiley of Moto-Services.net that has been nothing but 100 % positive.
A couple of weeks ago, I won an eBay auction for a Tour Master Advanced 3/4 jacket. What arrived was a Tour Master Advanced Sport jacket. I contacted the seller, who advised that he was on the road and would check on it the next day and let me know what was going on. He did just as he said he would and unfortunately they did not have the 3/4 in stock. He offered to order it from Tour Master and gave me a choice of several other textile jackets and pants, some he had in stock others he would have to order. He also offered to give me a 100% refund, including the return shipping. Everything was handled in the most professional manner. After thinking over what I wanted vs. what I needed the most, I asked Matthew to get me a pair of the Tour Master Caliber pants, in a short length, which he ordered and had on their way before receiving the jacket back to place back in his inventory. When the pants arrived, the distributor had mistakenly shipped them in the regular length. Matthew must have been following up on this because he contacted me Monday afternoon to ask if the pants had arrived and if they were the correct length. When I responded back on Tuesday that they had arrived but were of the regular length, he immediately had a pair the correct length shipped, which arrived today, just a little over 24 hours after I confirmed that they were the wrong length. This is the kind of Customer Service that builds long term relationships between customer and vendor. While this was my first transaction with Matthew, it definitely will not be my last. Looking over his web based store ( http://www.moto-services.net/ ), I see he has Ohlins' and Race Tech suspension goodies and K & L tools. His eBay store has ( http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=motoservices) has a good selection of parts, accessories and tools also. To finish my story, the first pair of Tour Master pants are back in their original box, waiting to be sent back to Moto-Services.net, where Matthew has already told me that there is no rush, get them back when I can and let him know how much the shipping is so he can credit the amount to my PayPal account. If you're looking for something, take a look at Matthew's sites, he is the type of dealer we need to support so he stays around! All in all, even with the 2 mistakes, this has been one of the easiest, least stressful Internet transactions that required any type of return or exchange that I have experienced. I give Matthew Wiley and Moto-Services |
