I'm signed up with my KTM, another guy I know will be there on a Tard as well.

Anyone?

No racing. Track day. Had the KTM out about 2 mos ago. Had a blast. I was being "polite" under braking. The only feedback I got was "be more aggressive, pass under braking". Hopefully that feedback = bump to intermediate soon.

I'm going to try to do this. Doing Pocono East the end of this month. I've done Summit in late fall and the conditions were superb! Hope to see some of you there.

What's up, Barry. Are you still liking that KTM? Did you ever get it plated? I'll be at Summit 9/16-18 and 10/28-30 and VIR Patriot 10/21-22. The Patriot course should be a good one for motards.

I got most of the parts... pretty much just need a kickstand and speedo to street it, but I'd run it with a plate, headlight, tailight, and call it good.

I like it. Sounds like we'll have some tards out that day. Should be a hoot.

Awesome...sounds like a great time, my fault on the misunderstanding with track days. Anyways, do they have a seperate group that runs with SuperMotos or do they toss you guys in with the sportbikes and the like (I never saw an SM bike at the track days/races I went to, but they were a while ago...)?

You get to run with sportbikes. I might be there but as a spectator only.
I also have a video of Jefferson run, there was a KTM in the mix, pretty sweet. I have to dig it up.

I saw a guy on a WR450 with 17" wheels positively smoking the fast group at Loudon a few weeks ago. On that track you can be 70hp down on folks and still pass them.

It was funny to watch the guys on GSXR1000s with smoke coming out of their ears in the pits.

I love it...I always do like it best when it comes down to skill and not how much money or displacement you brought
