Curious about FJR near Atlanta, Greenville, Asheville

Is there anyone in this area who has a relatively new FJR?
Every couple of months, I'm tempted to sell my 1150GS Adventure in favor of an FJR. I'd like to ride one and see if it's for me.

If someone here would be cool with letting me take their FJR out for a jaunt, I sure would appreciate it. You could ride along on my Adventure. Or I could bring my DR650 if you'd prefer.

Thanks

Yo, R!

You oughtta read the article in the November 'Cycle World' that compares the FJR to the BMW K1200GT. Apparently, they'd have the GT hands down.

That said, I've had the FJR lust for a few years myself. When you cave and buy one, can I ride it?

But at almost $20K for the K12 . . . . .

there's a 2006 FJR on ebay right now. It's got @250 miles on it. How's that even possible? Someone must not like riding.

Yeah . . . actually, with options, as tested, the K was a little over $21k if I'm not mistaken.

I'm certain it was just a mistake, but you seem to have missed part of my post:

I've also been interested in the FJR, but first I would take a good look at this:

The Dealer in Roswell/Alpharetta has one, possibly two, on the floor. Or at least he did a couple weeks ago.

One is the silver Auto clutch version and the other is the blue one. He wanted full list but was willing to ignore the "dealer prep" charges...

Just take my advice, STAY OFF THE FJR, or you will buy one.

If you are in Alberta, you can try mine.

But, don't tell me afterwards, I didn't warn you!
