Trouble with "More Smilies" access...

I'll draft a reply to a thread, have it finished and want to add a smilie from the full selection and I'll click on the "More" button while in the preview post mode. It'll seemingly lock up my older Dell unit on dialup, till I finally have to reboot it and in frustration give up on all the work I put into the thread reply. Any guesses on why I'm having problems trying to pull up the full menu of smilies, while in preview post mode. It's frustrating after putting all the effort into a posting and then having to reboot this old dinosaur on dialup. I'm usually too angry to make the posting again, unless it's really important. What's with the "More" selection troubles...
