Negev springtime
Hi all!
Went for a short ride on the tracks of northern Negev area(Israel), which is usually a desert except of the spring and winter time. Riding down a hill: ![]() A wheat field: ![]() Getting out of a slippery dried river channel: ![]() Yellow flowers field: ![]() Some Bedouins with their goats and sheep: ![]() A watter crossing :![]() And the high blue skies: ![]() In addition here is a beautiful presentation of a rider and a very good photographer (D.Davidman) which is called "Israel through my lens" http://www.davidman.net/presentation.pps |

Isn't the Negev a desert? Doesn't look like much of a desert anymore...
Nice riding and pics |

All the trees you see on the pics where planted by the Israelis since the beginning of the return to the holly land some 100 years ago, those particularly are eucalyptuses that where brought from Australia. For about 7 month the whole area is yellow (burned by the sun) until it gets a bit of water. |

The photo's look exactly the same as the midwest region of Western Australia, around the town of Geraldton in spring.
