Wyperfield Ride March '07

Not much of a ride report as such, as I was too lazy too get the camera out as often as I should have… so just lots of assorted pic's.

5 of us went for a bit of a play in the sand out at Wyperfield Nat Park for the W/E, and Fuck that sand is soft! Or maybe I'm just fat? Or both…

Here's some of after a couple of hours up one one track—hot, thirsty (we shoulda brought more water), and not sure whether we're going to make it on one tank… like I said, the sand was soft!!

Dave—where'smybloodyham!!—hammering up one of the tracks, day 1

The tracks were great, long and unrelenting. I was fucked after the first day… This is one of the Marks

Still coming…

The sand was particularly nasty in the corners. If you slow down, you're fucked, but if you manage to ignore your basic survival instinct and maintain speed (actually nail it, because the softer stuff in the corners eats speed), then sometimes it all comes together. Case in point, here's Mark…

And here's another Mark, showing how it's done…

Dave rushing down to help Mark out of the shit…

Momentun is all…

Cam trying his hardest. Poor bugger just couldn't keep up all weekend…

He did try though…

Mark woosing out halfway up one weeny little hill…

Doesn't even look big from here…

We found lots of sand bowls to play and fall off in…

Check out the eyes!

Cam finally starting to get the hang of it all…

And finally, Dave going fully sick maaate,

Pity about the rest if it though

Where's my ham dammit!!??

Awesome stuff lads

And not one broken colar bone.

I became friends with someone just because they rode motorcycles from no-place to no-where.

Where exactly is this place? Not because I want to go there.......To make sure I AVOID it!!!!!!!

Awesome pics though I enjoyed them very much. Looks like a tough day of riding. How many beer to wash the dust down afterward?

Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff!
