OMG I'm posting in battle scooters - Big Ruckus ?

My fiance sold her vulcan 500 and has decided to save and get a lexus suv instead of a larger bike ...... oh well... However, this is an opportunity for me to get something else with the excuse that she could have something to ride when we went out.

I'm also trying to think of something fun, practical.. well fun actually on a semi small budget. I've looked at scooters but most leave me wanting aside from the ruckus and the large ass scoots like the silverwing, etc.

Any of you who own the big ruckus, how is life with this thing? Oil changes easy? Gotta inspect valves every 20 minutes? Would this thing be up for a 5 hour 55mph weekend getaway? I like this thing.
