Reno-'rump-Reno...Solo

Woke up a little too early Saturday morning, still a little dark and cold so I crawled back into the tent until the sun came up. Slept pretty well despite the airbraking of the semi's coming down Hwy 360 close to my little ghost town accomodations. Strange, didn't hear any ghosts.

The goal for today was Beatty, NV. Yesterday I rode exactly 200 miles and was determined to do about the same today. That way my last day of riding/camping will be a shorty.

Ended up here, right off the road that goes to Silver Peak, NV





At this point I was supposed to head more due south up into the Argentite Canyon, but my water situation was less than stellar and my gas sitch was just okay, so I bailed on the canyon and rode down into Silver Peak with plans to head towards Goldfield to gas up.
