Getting high on Mt. Taylor

Monday was freakin' beautiful and only 60 degree's on top of Mt. Taylor.

The road to Mosca LO...this was a fun road to haul ass up to the fire tower.

Vandalism is such a childish act..

Good thing I always carry Charmin.

The sign says "North 40"

Facing South on La Mosca.

The fire tower was uninhabited

Looking East toward Nipple Peak.

Radio gear in the Taylors

XRDude showing the ADVRider signal for foreplay

Even at 11k'+, the Katoom still hauled the mail with the new 14/48 gearing.

The XR did awesome too, especially with the new 14 tooth JT sprocket

They call this the "Race Track" because there is a bike race from Grants then a run uphill to the top..what a bitch that must be.

The very top is where we rode to

All big freaking rocks all the way to the top

I'll be back, you can bet on that!!

We saw only one other person, he was in a red Jeep, windshield folded down with his .270 Remington laying on top of it. I'm sure he wasn't poaching though..

Back in my Forest Service days, we used to put logging roads in up there. The Zuni's have some good riding ares, too.

Awesome... I'd go with ya, but I'd need a place to mount the tank of oxygen?

Our idea of open space in NH is climbing to the top of one of the mountains above treeline and taking a look around.....

but you....

you bastards get to ride up there and sit all tough and whatnot....

It..... just....... isn't....... fair.......

What route did you take in Dude? Nice ride!

The geology of that area with all of the lava flows fanning out is amazing.

I konw a super sekrit dual sport way in the south east. Well not really sekrit at all... you go north at San Felipe. Lotsa fun!!
