Looking at my first hack
So, I am looking at a 89 BMW R100 GS with a 03 Ural sidecar.
From what the current owner has told me, he did the mount with a dauntles kit and he claims it is stable at highway speeds with a small amount of head shake at 20-25 mph. The price seems fair and it is about 5-6 hours away so I will be able to look it over and ride prior to buying it. So what do you all think? hat do i need to look for or watch out for? This will be my first venture into sidecars. I have been riding for over 35 years and rode a old WW2 Harley WLA once. I want a rig for around town crusing with my dog and winter riding in the snow. So deal or no deal????? Thanks......
