2-Stroke Picture Thread

Looked for a similar thread but didn't find one. Post pictures of your older 2-Stroke "adventure" bikes. Dirt or street doesn't really matter. Here's my 73 H1 and my buddies 74 H2 on the Cherohala.

Here's my current winter project: refreshing two Yamaha IT465s. They have been sitting for a long time, have mouse nests in the airboxes. The petcocks and carbs were solid with fuel molasses.

I am also using a framesprung engine-locked parts bike.

And the 1982 IT465 blue enduro (the IT465s were made only in 1981 and 1982--contrary to what many people seem to think.)

I really need to get them running and give you some proper shots of them on the trail. Lots of work to do before then.

Those IT's are awsome. I had a 175 as a kid and loved it. Rode it during summer months on the snow mobile trails north of Montreal. What a blast that was. That 465 must be a freaking BEAST!

Haven't ridden any of them yet, but their reputation is that they aren't for the beginner nor faint of heart.

I might have to start a thread on this project.
