Guess you didn't head up to Julian, either, eh? I wanted to, but my thumb is still healing, and I am now somewhat absorbed in my Class 11 project for the next Baja mil.
Pelon we ride almost every weekend to the Julian area, yesterday we ride from Mexicali, Calexico 98, 80 In Ko Pah to Pine Valley, Sunrise Higway through Julian, Santa Isabel, Mesa Grande ( very icy), Monte Palomar, Ramona, and back to Ocotillo through the desert, 98 and Mexicali.
More less 300 miles.
We were a group of 14 bikes, hondas, suzukis, ktm, harleys and bmw.
keep safe.

That is why you need to move to the coast, Ensenada is much better, no 120 F in summer, and no cold in winter... and yes, no earthquakes.

There are a MILLION reasons to move to Ensenada . . . Rey del Sol, Las Rosas, la bufadora, Estero Beach, the 500, the 1000, and Hussongs to name but a few.

I don´t like the smell, anyway I work there some years ago and workers whipping all day about the hot days, 90 degrees. Also there isn´t water.
In the other hand there is a lot of wine, good food and ride, so I can ride there and have fun.
