For us 950 ADV rider that need a little extra storage space, replace the rear fender piece and license plate holder plastic from pieces off of the 990 ADV.

Rear fender under seat panel runs about $30 for unpainted black and the license plate holder piece is about $13.

Not sure what's going in there yet.

Where did all that dirt come from????

The under seat storage space on the 990 ADV is used to hold the ABS unit, some trimming of extra plastic to clean up the area is required.

The shiny piece is a plug I made to fill the hole for the stock drain plug. The 2into1 pipe runs right there and would have melted it. I moved it to the other side by drilling a new hole w/ a spade drill bit for wood.

Drilled two holes to mount the seat release as the new side panels do not have tabs for that. Good eye and luck are required to get them in the correct place.

Some plastic spacers from ACE (to save weight ) and it mounted up pretty well.

Reinstall all the original grommets, hopefully you drilled the holes the correct size before painting.

Put on some stickers to finish it off.

I'm too cheap to by a new 990S, so I made my own version.
