simple motorcycle song/ditty
An ol' boy went riding out one bright and sunny day
Mountain ridges he crested as he went along his way When all at once a noisy herd of speeding cars he saw Plowing along the busy highway and up a cloudy draw Yippy-ya-ho, yippy-ya-hey Car riders on the way Their exhausts were on fire and their wheels were made of steel Their horns were loud and piercing and their hot exhausts he could feel A bolt of fear went through him as they thundered on by For he saw the riders coming hard and he heard their tires cry Yippy-ya-ho, yippy-ya-hey Car riders on the way Their faces tense, their eyes blurred, their palms soaked with sweat They are riding on their way to work, but they ain't caught me yet 'Cause they've got to ride forever on that highway by and by Their exhausts snorting fire as they ride and making their tires cry Yippy-ya-ho, yippy-ya-hey Motorcycle riders love the sky As the riders pass me by I often hear them call me not by my name I say I wanna save my soul from your hell and riding in a cage This ol' boy ain't changing his ways today because I live to ride Trying to catch the sun and sky across these endless hills and mountains high Yippy-ya-ho, yippy-ya-hey Motorcycle riders love the sky George P.S. This is my parody of "Ghost Riders in the Sky" Melodie LINKY Peter Nicolai Arbo (Norway 1831-1892) Title: Åsgårdsreien Oil on Canvas Last edited by Old_Lion : 05-01-2009 at 09:26 AM. |
