Question Georgia Riders

Hello everyone, I am new to the site but just wanted to drop in and see if there were any riders in ga? If so, is there any kind of get together or whatnot going on anytime soon? I just bought a DRZ400S and am looking to get to know some riders in the area. By the way, the area would be North Ga.

Hey Dirty,

I have also recently purchased a DRZ400S and am looking to get better aquainted with the bike up in North GA(I live in Marietta). I'd like to see plenty of dirt roads as there is a shortage of them in my town. Maybe I'll see you up there soon!

Wow a new Georgia riding thread... I plan to let my bikes rest all summer (I keep them summarized, June through August) then do some riding on my DR650e in the fall.

Dirty, try some of the tagging threads, it's a good way to find your way around the state.

62hrs got you all messed up! Not a new thread.

62 hrs, that intro/rider request from Dirty was from over 9 years ago! He has been around by now. When searching and replying to threads check the date.

How are you feeling AL?

Btw, I am a Georgia rider in the Cartersville area. Mostly dirt until I get a bigger bike.

Noob out!

Hey! We were trying to be nice and NOT point out the n00bs mistake.
Good luck on the big bike search.

Thanks, I'm doing well.

But Fall is hurricane season... and there are hunters out there shooting guns and stuff.... and you could slip on the leaves.

May 22-26th is when I like to ride, unless there's a chance of rain, of course.

It's a good thing you didn't. He'd prolly go head explody over a pay to ride event.

Tommy has many many miles under his belt since this post. Cross country on a SV 650 is one of many examples.

He sounds like a smart fella since he rides (or did) a zook!

The 2013 Edition of "Chomp-da Dogs" is scheduled for November 16th, 2013. We are welcoming the Grand Tour of Georgia Riders to come on down also as that tour finishes that week also. This will be the third year for our little RTE and we're looking to getting together with old and new friends at Nu-Way Weiners once again.

Due to the expected larger turnout and to be able to accommodate everyone more comfortably we'll move to the Nu-Way #8 location on Zebulon Road off Exit 9 of I-475. The address for you luddites with paper maps is 6016 Zebulon Road Macon, GA 31210 478/474-5933 This location is part of a small food court and has more seating than the original Cotton Avenue downtown Macon store. The location is on the South side of Zebulon between Wendy's and Buffalo's and in front of the Kroger Store. The hours for the Zebulon Road location are 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM so feel free to come early for breakfast and tire kicking. We'll plan on the main gathering from 10:30 AM until 12:00 Noon when we'll announce the Long Distance Award and maybe something else. Remember," I'd go a Iong Way for a Nu-Way "
