Hello from Germany,

I am not sure whether this bike entered this world as an R 80ST since it was converted by the German Fallert company; it does have the proper R 80ST or G/S monolever rear suspension, but the front fork is from a K 100 donor bike, the wheels are 2.50 x 17 and 3.50 x 18, the engine is 980 cc with 38mm Dellorto carbs and 10.5 compression ratio, providing about 78 hp. It is a pity that BMW decided to phase out the old airheads, but enthusiasts around the world keep them going.

Ride safely
