Thanks anodyne. I like the Meat Puppets too. After riding the TAT this summer, I'm jealous of people who live in Co. or anywhere in the mountain west for that matter. I can ride all year, but..... Here's a ride report from my first weekend with my F800 You're gonna love it (the bike, not the report) http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=396236 |

Hi, it´s my first post and I would like to show you my new 650 GS
Its repainted by a bodypainter in my favorite colour. The seat is "self-designed" and build by a car-upholsterer. The attachment for the auxiliary driving lamps (1 x Xenon-upper-beam, 1 x fog-light) was build by my husband. Next wishes are: Saddle bag für day trips - you may look her http://www.bagster.com/de/showroom.php?id=85 For an additional engine protection shield and hand guard, I´m still looking. Currently, I can´t decide. ![]() ![]()

Christiana,
Welcome to ADV!! Bike looks great. Love that seat, it's nice to have friends with skills. I've got the bashplate from Adventure-Spec, and they are almost ready to release their engine bars. Good luck, and keep posting. |

Colorado F800GS
I have been riding a 2005 R1200GS for 26000 miles and a R100GS for 45000 miles before that. I put money down on a F800GS on November 14, 2007. Now after 1250 miles on the 800 I am convinced I am on a better bike for me. What a great bike, well balanced, good power, and suspension. The brakes are progressive and smooth. The abs flawless. It carries my camping kit easily and handles gravel roads as well or better than my 1200.

There are 2 holes needed to be drilled to fit the bolts.
