Help, I have squeaky boots!

Ok, so I have this pair of Gaerne Balance trials boots. They are my only pair of riding boots. They fit well, are comfortable, waterproof, and look "normal" under street clothes. The level of protection is not great, but it's a good compromise for the type of riding I do.

They squeak.

Loudly.

With every step.

Not a problem on the bike, obviously, but I sometimes have to get off of the bike. I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of the squeak. Boot oil, silicone spray, sanding the bits that rub together, even astroglide.

If I wanted squeaky boots I would have gotten some MX boots.

Any suggestions
