seriously, did anyone think that was a REAL restaurant when they walked in the front door?.. let's see..... thousands of kids coloring books and toys, big wheels everywhere, a junky kids pool table ,, no menu , seriously,,, there was NO menu !

it was a place of Last Resort... too early in the season for most places to be officially open and too early in the week too [ many eateries are closed in the mountains on Mon/ Tues,, and it was like 2 pm..

with that said,, I'm glad the nice lady fed us,, where ever the food came from [ it was NOT from the shack we were in ]..even if it took forever,, I was starved...

the view from the back porch was much better than the food ..

you want the best Bar -B- Q in Helen ?,, or anywhere for that matter?

North Georgia Bar -B - Q..

he makes his money on Fri , Sat ,Sun,,.. rest of the week -CLOSED !
and they have no view/river
quality food must be a priority there


all in all, it was a great day of motorcycling,, even if the rest of you missed the top of Richard Russel Scenic Hwy..
