Southern Maryland KLR Tech day

Is anyone interested in a spring (March/April) KLR 650 tech day in the Lexington Park MD area?? I have a 3 car garage with an air compressor and a full tool box. I just did the Doo so I still have the tools. I'm also experienced in valve clearance check and most electrical work. I havn’t done tire changes yet, but I have recently stayed at a Holiday inn express

Tech day is now scheduled for March 28th....All Dual Sporters are welcome to stop in. This is also posted over on KLR650.net under mid atlantic tech days

Dude, I'm in Hagerstown (have no idea where you are exactly, but figure I can find it) and I'd be in. Got the Doo, and want to put longer spacers in and heavier fork oil... As well as safety switch by-pass and a few other penny-tech things...

I'll put up at least one pizza for the effort..

Keep me posted!

P.S. I am mechanically inept, but can strip bolts like a pro!!

Ragin, You are covered. OBTW google map Leonardtown MD.........I'm south on route 5. If you want to do the kickstand bypass without cutting your wirers you will need 2 small female quick disconnects. Standard automotive is 1/4 inch which was too large to fit the plug. I had to go to radio shack and i came up with 7/64", and they worked fine.

First thing you need is an Eagle Mike Doohicky and spring kit.........I have all the install tools. You may or may not need both left side gaskets depending what happens when it comes apart. i got lucky with my 2006.

Send me a private message (PM) if you have any questions.

Scott
