How Bout' Some Okie Tag
Ok Okies, Let's start a little game of Oklahoma Tag.
Boundries ? Within the state. Everybody plays. You can come from another state and play but the next tag stays in Oklahoma. Hows that...Bout a couple four states worth back east I recon. Rules ? Couple.. Ghost Towns.. Anywhere you can snap a pic of the object and your bike. The pic you upload has to have been taken SINCE you took the tag pic. Not last years road trip to the Panhandle. New Adventure Pics Only.. I'll start with an easy one. Today.. I went Here...Now I've figured out that this is NOT the bridge I was looking for. Oh well next time. Rural, Near the now extinct town of Fallis, Ok. Bout 3 miles north of Fallis on Seward Rd. At the junction of E0840 and N3290 Rds. One lane bridge. ![]() ![]() Tag, You're it...No GPS today so no coordinates. Hint, Google Earth. John

yep, I shouldn't be too far away from that destination. The OKC guys should have easy access to this one as well.
Thanks John, we all need just one more excuse to bum around these long straight dirt roads

There is always a plan "b"

RTB Tomorrow Afternoon ? ( ride to bridge )
I missed my ghost town by about three miles. So I'd like to go back and check that out as well.
I don't care for riding in the boonies by myself all that much. Yet. There's safety in numbers, Especially if someone has a breakdown. Maybe after a few more sucessful runs on "Mr Woodie" I'll have more confidence. It's still a "new" bike to me and i'm unsure of it's complete reliability. Although yesterday it was near perfect. ( I know I shouldn't have said that. ) The spedo did quit again. I guess I'm going to have to order a new cable. Newner ? You In ? Hickry ? snoid? I'd like to see that Ural again. John

Rules
You guys want to make any interesting rules ?
I was thinking that the new tag pic should be taken on the same trip as the one to get the tag. That way the tag would migrate more slowly around and possibly even create a trail of good places to visit. I still like the ghost town idea but that might be a bit limiting on the places to visit. Watcha think ? Any cool ideas ? John

My thoughts. Anywhere in Oklahoma. Should be a named or famous place, unless directions are given. ( to many one lane bridges etc in Oklahoma to find "that" one)
Old tag picture and new tag picture should be posted at the same time. ( Same day anyway) Does it have to be themed? I think not. It might limit places and people that play. A group ride could be fun, but who gets to claim the tag? Just my thoughts, you asked for them!!! Make it simple and keep it fun!!

We play TAG on TSR. Just in Tulsa metro.
We have amassed 88 pages in 5 months. And two less sucessful "daughter" tag games (Long distance, and Dirt), but only because of the winter weather. They will take off as it warms up. Rules should be what JPSpen say they are. His game, His rules. There needs to be a single clearing house for the rules. We can all agree that he would have the best interest of the game at heart, and the goal of making it fun for everyone. So lets just let him rule the roost. Any question or problem come up. Let the JPShammer fall where it may. As much as it may hurt to say it; A democracy in this situation would cause us to start arguing and debating more than TAGing. So let the DICKtatershit prevail.
