R 1200GS crash bars or not.

Will be picking up my new 1200gs in mid Nov, will have piaa driving & fog lights installed before I pick it up.. Question is at the same time am thinking of having the shop install the BMW crash guards or another brand. Don't want them to interfer with any service areas like valve adj or oil changes.. What do you guys think, and what are you using?? If you are!
