Craig, found a package waiting for me when I got home from work this morning. Hopefully I'll be able to sneak out for a test ride tomorrow...

Purchase a Titanium LC8 clutch cover get a set of Standard orange DIY extensions for $30. Purchase an Aluminum LC8 clutch cover get a set of Standard orange DIY extensions for $56.
Just got back from a ride with the new CJ MX pegs installed. Unfortunately, for the first time EVER, I left my camera at home... So no pictures, but the added room these extenders provide is AMAZING! My balance on the bike was dramatically improved. My ability to initiate a turn with foot pressure was improved 10 fold! Love these pegs and they look great to boot!!
I've got the long style on my SE & really like the wider & longer peg's . It give's me more room & stability for the ol boot's to ride on..Love'em great job CJ...Two Thumb's Up... Ride On....
The longs add about 1.5" to the peg length? I did not read through all the posts... these will work with stock SE pegs?
Yes, long pegs actually add 1.62" in length. They will work on Stock SE pegs and I have Long Orange pegs back in stock for only $5 more.
So once again I found myself in need of a CJRacer product. And once again I was impressed by Craig's knowledge and willingness to help. Even if it meant I was not going to buy something from him (which I did). Within a couples days a pair of long peg extentions were in my hands ready to install. Armed with the very complete and detailed instructions (maybe too detailed?), I was ready to go. Sorry no photos of the parts in the box, so you will have to trust me... they were very nicely packed. The quality and beauty of the parts far exceeded any and all of my expectations and I have purchased other things from Craig. These things are almost too beautiful to put on my bike, I will almost feel bad when I smash them on a rock... almost. As I mentioned before, the instructions are complete. If there is any flaw, it is that they may be too detailed. By reading them I had expected a lenthy install but as I started in it went very quickly and smoothly. The detail and sequence of steps were thoughtful and made this install as foolproof as possible. As I went through the install process I was continually impressed with the amount of thought that went into the design and construction. I mean... its a footpeg after all... who'd a thunk. I had previously switched to the FastWay pegs so I have a few photos comparing the fastways to the CJRacer (and the stock pegs). CJRacer: Fastway: CJRacer (and stock): Fastway: CJRacer: Fastway: Ok... so, what does this mean? Well, I did like that the Fastways were a bit lower but they felt a tad too far back for me (size 46 boot). I was a little concerned that the CJRacer pegs would feel too close to the shifter/brake. I rode today with my Discovery boots and the pegs felt great. Not just good... great, not too close at all. I will ride this weekend with the SIDI Crossfires and report back. So now the really good stuff... these pegs are long. Really long. They really transform the bike, and that is just on a quick around town loop. I can't wait to get it out on the trail. The amount of leverage these pegs give a riders is amazing. So, if you want some beautiful bling for your bike... get the CJRacer peg extenders. If you want a wider peg... get the CJRacer. If you want a longer peg for more leverage and control... get the CJRacer.
CJ , Will your peg extention fit on to pivit pegs ? i'd like a set for my 690 but also want pivot pegs Sorry if this have been asked before
No, this version will not work on the Pivot pegs. I'm not sure when or if I'll offer those. If I do I'll need a sample set to work off of. I've not had a chance to ride w/ these pegs, but have heard from some long distance offroad riders that stand a lot that they caused them leg pain as they had to constantly use there lower legs and calves to keep steady. The little bit of gain, was not offset by the pain. Even though one rider is over 6' 4", they have now gone back to stock pegs and my extensions. Added some Rox risers and hit the desert. Much improvement over there last trip.
Thanks for letting me know you got them. I've been emailing the instructions. Saves paper, my little part to "Go Green". thanks, CJ
