Good afternoon folks. My name is Matt. I've lurked round these parts on and off for a couple of years and finally decided to sign up over the weekend. I figured what better way to kick things off than to introduce you to my bike. Below you will find my 2005 Triumph Bonneville T100. In her most recent incarnation she's sporting a stout set of moto bars from Biltwell and a set of Metzler Tourances. 99% of my riding currently is on the road, but I'm looking to do a bit of weekend exploring around the dirt roads of New England this year and these tweaks reflect that. In addition to what I've already mentioned I'll also be adding an additional mirror, a skid plate and I'm on the look out for a scrambler style exhaust (might work with a friend to make one). The moto bars also provide great options for GPS mounts, etc. I like to do things on a small budget without the use of credit cards, so things progress slowly sometimes, haha. My trump isn't anything spectacular or particularly capable, but she provides me with tons of fun during my 60 mile commute and on the weekends. I'd like to pick up a 2nd, more adventure-biased bike by the end of the year/early 2013, but that will all depend on my funds. Anyway, onto the pics...

I love how the Bonneville can be anything for anybody. It's not my style but this has style aplenty and looks perfectly in harmony. I'll bet it's fun to ride which is the final and most important consideration. When people put the new Bonneville down for being porky, please post these pictures in it's defense.

I was just gonna say, "why'd you debadge? It would look great with some garden gates on there." But ICWUDT

Looks great, I really dig that decal. How did you paint your tank? Professional job? If so, how much did it run you?

Really looks awesome, everything works together. :clap

Thanks! The tank was painted professionally by my friend John Peard in New Hampshire. It was a bit of a barter deal, so I can't speak to the costs.

The more I look at it, the more tasteful it becomes. Nice touches everywhere.

    Thanks guys.

I've got about 1000 miles on them at this point and they've been great. Despite their aggressive look they handle very well - with the warmer weather/pavement temps recently I've been really attacking the corners with no issues. They've also performed well in the small portion of chopped up dirt road riding that I've done. I can't speak to wet performance as I've not had them out in the rain yet.

All three are on my parts-to-buy list. :thumb

Wow, pretty sure most of us aren't going to make it due to a serious case of death prior to that date.
