Thru the Rooftops of Namadgi National Park.
Ride report has been removed after receiving this message. I suppose I should let this stand as a warning to others.

"Nice ride report through Namadgi mate.......Too bad the majority of it is behind locked gates with clear signage about no unauthorised vehicles beyond this point

To avoid others following in your footsteps it's probably not a bad idea to take the RR down.

Infringement notices are easily issued with photographic evidence alone - and your number plate is easily identifiable.

Take this as a cautioniary warning and please remove the ride report.

There are plenty of great riding opportunities in the region without breaking the law."

    Thanks

That is a great RR. Looks bloody cold. Going for a ride and camp to Stanthorpe this weekend, will only get down to about -1 in the morning should be great during the day.

Looks like a great day ride you had there. Damn this Mon to Fri working crap, i'm going to start having more days off :evil

My theory with those barriers and gates is that if they leave a big gap at the side like that, they must just be there to stop the Leyland Brothers crew. :ricky

Whereabouts did you hit the mud?

    Cheers,
    JD

Dog is doing really well thanks, she's running everywhere again and being a real pain in the proverbial :lol3

Had the first off leaving the hut in the pics. Front went on the corner. Same again about 2 kms further along. Both slow speed whoopsies so no biggie. There were plenty of muddy bits and quite a few running streams on corners from snow melt. No really dramas though just took it easy as I was alone.

Good ole thermal undies mate kept me bits warm all day long :D

Thanks all for the comments it was a top notch ride.

Nice write-up Dave. I'd been wondering if you could get down to Orroral without getting blocked by locked gates...

    Looks like it's not a problem:clap

Sorry mate but the Orroral end was a bloody nightmare and was probably just lucky I didn't get busted.
