Here she is doing what she does best on a ride around the Olympic peninsula a few months ago. Purchased about four years ago with 50K and now has around 60K with many changes like the PD kit, rebuilt trans, staintune, TKCs, and a bunch of other little things.

    1985 G/S #3103:

We've all joked about the off-road vehicles that looked like the most off road they'd seen was the front lawn. Well, my living room bike saw some rough duty, though most of the damage has now been repaired. So not only does this one not see any dirt (or the lawn), it doesn't even see pavement. :lol3

    1985 G/S #3107

This poor baby needs some work. It came to me in boxes and appears to be all there, except for some bits missing from the frame. The steering stop and passenger peg mounting areas have now been re-attached, but the steering lock boss is still missing. If you know where I can locate one, please let me know! As soon as that's repaired the frame will get painted and the bike can go back together.

Unknown heritage: 'cept known abuse by at least one PO (the last one).

It's an early one, though, which I reckon would have been Euro delivered... no idea how it got here (OZ).

I suspect it's been stolen sometime in it's no-doubt colourful past - it now has a Victoria Police allocated vin number.

But now it's mine and is slowly being returned to it's former glory - not cosmetic just yet though!

Here we are on a recent journey to Lake Mungo NP.

Man! Some beauty bike, and beauty backgrounds, too.

I wonder how many G/Ss we have in here ... seems like the thread is growing pretty quick.

If I understand Solo's numbers, there were only 1329 sold/imported to US? I thought the number was much larger - am I missing something?

If that is correct, and we have say, 20 US bikes, then that's about 1.5% of US G/S's on ADV.

    We need a rally :deal

Well, my numbers are suspect, check the links at the bottom of post one... there seems to be more produced for the US then the numbers I have posted.... I have no clue what the right numbers would be....
