Jealous! Just like last year...don't have the right bike. I figured I'd have a two-fiddy by now, but it wasn't in the cards :waysad

I'm riding my KLR650 and I'm sure its less graceful on the trails then your F800. Defiantly not the perfect bike for this ride but I'm going to have fun even if I spend all day stuck in a mud!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

You guys talked me into it! Well, not exactly :D A very kind soul offered me the use of their DR650 :clap It is a little bit lighter, but more importantly, it has new knobbies while I have 50/50 tires on mine and the K60 on the rear has quite a few road miles on it. Thanks Z!! :wave

I made arrangements to get my registration in, so I will see y'all there! :freaky

So Tim -- is that offer still good, or is he on his own now? :lol3

Should I have included a clause that indicates the offer of elevating a bike to apply exclusively to that of a BMW F800, orange in color? :deal

:) offer is still good

there's a reason I'm not riding a 650 anymore, it's nice not to lift 400lb each time I run into a tree

you would think, with that much inertia, you could just ride straight through the trees.

Good thing there's no trees on the Bucky route. Or hills. Or Mud. Or muddy hills through the trees.

Mr. Muck, the kitty stickers have to stay. Whether you keep the rainbow leopard tailbag on, is up to you. :lol2

My name is all over that bike. Make me proud. :D

Great to hear! We'll see you there.
Yea I got a fresh set of knobbies (or "knobblies" for the Long Way Down Fans) to put on the the KLR. That should help me out abit on the trails.

I'll do my best!! And I think I will pass on the tailbag, hope it comes off easy enough :rofl Kitty stickers are fine, and IIRC, you have a pretty special vanity plate on it as well :D

I'm sure it would be nice to have something lighter (Zaboo and I spent the day on some CRF230's a while back and it was an absolute blast) but I am just damn happy to get to participate! Good to hear the offer is still good though...I'm sure I will need all the help I can get!
