I got the subframe built today. I am going to finish it off with a piece of diamond plate aluminum to form a skid plate.

Should be going down the road in two weeks hopefully.

Only see the front mount and that seems low. Are you planning to have the height difference that is common on Kalich-type leaners?

The 4130 tube will make a dam strong yet still be light..

As for the sidcar wheel steer... On mine I have the front
mount 100mm higher than the rear with 100mm of lead
on the car wheel..
The bigger the diffrent's in the mount point hight , the
more lead you can run on the side car wheel..

I got enough tube for four cars at a price of 86.00. What a steal. I gave home a 100 and said keep the change so I didn't feel guilty .

I can only go by what I have done on my 2...
XR250 unit had a 900mm track.. 1100 wide from the centre line of the bike...
XT660 will have 900 to 1000mm track.. 1200 to 1300mm wide from the centre line of the bike..
