Sorry, I'm currently in the hospital in San Clemente. I had a small bowel blockage knock me down after I returned from my successful iron butt ride, 50CC. I've been in since last Friday and was just put on clear liquids this afternoon. I also was severely dehydrated. They've been pumping in full bags of IV solution at 150cc/hr since I arrived. It was definitely something I ate on Wednesday, the day after I made it home... But being dehydrated has not helped.

It could have been much worse...

    Hey Joel,
No sign of my payment yet? I personally dropped it in a mail box on the 4th. I mailed it from Key West and it was a mo for $212 for me and Berolina #104 and #105. If you haven't received it by tomorrow I will paypal you and I'll see what I can do about a lost mo. Maybe I can get my money back from the post office.

    Don

Ha! I think a dunking is actually recommended in the XR manual. They should be fully submerged (preferably while running) every 3 years or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Wow, I totally forgot about the high parts of 395 as a potential issue. We froze our asses off through there coming back from DV in early March a couple of years ago.

Not that I was in, #235 on the waiting list. I ended up having a work trip to New York City and my wife is joining me. It goes from bad (no DV ride) to worse (a wife who likes to spend in NYC). JK I'll have to make it an even year thing and see you guys next year! Enjoy and be safe you FF's.

I'm being optimistic and hoping I make the list. Kids and wife are trying to come up with other commitments for me but they can suck it up. Putting knobbies on the bike this week so I can start practicing crashing.

If I cant make the trip because of work or something can I give my spot to somebody else? I am sure this has been asked and answered, and may even be in the first couple posts, I am just too lazy to go look for the answer.
