This moose has a storied past. It started its life at the PTL club years ago when Jim and Tammy Baker were on tv and building their Praise The Lord club theme park. Jim an affair then miss spent donations then off to prison and the PTL club went into bankruptcy. One of the charlotte morning radio DJ's called the ptl club the Pass The Loot club because they could get the donations.

After bankruptcy this moose was purchased and placed at this fast food restaurant. Then the city waged a war on the restaurant owner because of sign laws and zoning. He fault back and the moose got to stay.

It is behind the restaurant at the drive thru. I think that was why the owner got to keep the moose. He agreed to move it to the back. It has been there for years and i have forgotten the details.

Head's up. I've been told that the pimento cheese burgers here are to die for.:dg

Never had the pimento cheeseburger but everything else is great. FYI if the weather is bad they don't have an indoor eating area.

Tire was delivered today, mount and balance tonight, half day Friday...just saying....but then again the NCTOR is also within range....choices...thinking the moose due to food being mentioned...

Seems like everyone is getting a new tire. I just had one mounted up for me today also.

I knew I would be needing one before spring but....with the start up of this game and nice weather it wore out a little quicker than expected...

I am out for a little longer. Found a wheel bearing needing replacing. At least I got my tire mounted.

.. funny about the tires .. just picked up a new rear Michelin T63 .. for all the snow we have NOT been having .. lol ..

Ok...new rear wheel bearings in hand....not so sure if tomorrow is an early day or not....lots to do at that 4 letter "W" word....just maybe....there is hope.....to set the moose loose.

.. I'm stuck at home caring for the wife (flu) and the kids (just starting to some down with it) .. lol .. so I ain't going no where but to work on Monday ..

I knew I shoulda run out Friday and got it, but the old gal (wife, not bike) was not up to it .. so I spent about an hour in the yard and removed the handlebar enricher/choke and installed a nice plunger unit off the carb (scored it off eBay, nice unit the guy makes) .. and I pulled the ammo can panniers off the bike a brought them inside and played around with them a little today (put in some eye bolts to be able to lock everything up after I caught a guy getting ready to lighten my load) ..

.. okay .. that's my story and I'm stickin' to it ..

My excuses.... Spent yesterday researching health insurance plans.
I was asked to help build a pinewood derby cars with some young scouts.
Today, spent day with the family
Tomorrow I am taking a group of Boy Scouts skiing in West Virginia.
Plus.... It is just cold and extremely windy here.

.. windy is a darn good excuse .. was just reading that Ray (Truckdriver) ended up in a ditch coming back home from the VA tag .. glad he didn't get busted up ..
