I'm hoping better than the other Tech 3 frame bikes. Geez they stink. But I don't think it's the riders, I really think it's the bike.

Not only that, but the Rolex series ran the course reverse of what the bikes do so it isn't like they even laid rubber down in the correct spots to benefit the bikes.
Plus the rubber ball pit that is anything off the racing line...
Hell, Rossi went down while braking straight up and down for turn 2 in 2009...

I love the venue but the track itself tends towards races of attrition.

It will be interesting to see if any of the Ducs can hold the tight line exiting T1. Last year only DP and CS could hold the paint... Well, MM could hold it in Moto 2 as well.

Meanwhile the Ducs all ran wide, which screwed up both T2 and T3. Pretty ugly. I think Rossi ran through the grass at least once.

The Yamaha's were pretty good, but drifted a few feet towards the middle...

Believe it or not, the Harley XR class is pretty fun to watch at Indy. Their lines all criss cross and sometimes they meet :eek1

I read Jeremy McWilliams will be back. He fell off during his first attempt. I think it was T3. Once again I'll be pulling for Tyler O'Hara this year. In 2011 he showed up as a van man on his own nickle and took home the big money. Then last season he was there for the very last turn of the last race of the year for the championship. O'Hara pulled up alongside Barney and grabbed his arm as they powered side by side to the checkers. It gave him just enough to pip Barney for the whole thing. Of course he got penalized and had to give it right back to Barney. Gotta' love those van man motorcycle racers... :deal

I think we have seen the last of Cal on the podium for the season. Whatever "extra" (revs) Yamaha were allowing him, trying to woo him (were they really?), will be gone. Rossi should beat him at each remaining round.

    Smith will be sixth again.

I like the prediction of Spies as top Ducati. That would be interesting. :hmmmmm

I hope Nicky can beat Dovi. Nothing against Dovi. :deal

    Espargaro in the top 10.

The sport cars ran reverse? :huh

Ugh, I mean even going the same direction, bikes are cars are going to have different lines.....I wonder what the logic there was, probably trying not to ripple the breaking zones.

Fixed it for you.....unless you were talking about the current Ducatis or the Yammie that Spies rode year.....then your original statement stands. :lol3

I'll be up there at Indi for the races. I've always wanted to stream the video while watching it live. Anyone know of a website, like Fox Sports, that might be streaming the race live?

I know there is a mobile app from Dorna Sports that does this but I have tried this and the streaming audio/video content isn't there. I also don't like the $21.33 cost of the app.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cool. I didn't remember him racing it last year, all I remember was the finish to that race.

Will be interesting to see if O'Hara can make up ground on Rapp this weekend. I'm pulling for Gage McAllister, another Northern California supermoto rider. He'd done one AFM club race weekend (6 wins) before Daytona where he finished 10th in his first pro road race (.8 off the winner). He finished 4th at Miller in just his 2nd XR1200 race.

Hugely disappointed that the AMA is not making the effort to televise the XR1200 races this weekend. #%&*!

People watch the Harley races? :dunno I understand why the racers do it; the series pays better than anything else in the AMA . . .

Well, people watch trucks race round and round in circles, and some people watch other people play poker. I gotta think Harleys on a roadrace course is more interesting than that. :deal
