Also check out the Nexx X.D1, it was featured at the Intermot in Cologne earlier this month and is about to be launched in December.
The panels near the ear can be switched out for goggle quicklock base plates and the helmet supposedly is also prepared for action cam and intercom mounting.
It will come with pinlock out of the box (although not shown on these pics yet).

That looks cool, would have to go white though.
Did you happen to notice a price, or is it too early?

I actually contacted the manufacturer in Portugal through email. I never expected it but they've replied within two days to all three of my inquiries.
That's how I found about the weight, pin lock and store date.
And the MSRP of €389. Not really cheap but if it fits my head I'm getting one.

I have to correct myself regarding the MSRP, for the regular plain color one it's € 349,95, for the Voyager (with the graphics) it's € 389,95.

I don't have any experience with it, but it might be worth noting that the FX-55 is certified ECE 22.05NP... Non-Protective in regards to the chinbar.

I am looking to buy a second helmet. I have a nice TLD that will serve as my tough ride helmet. I am looking to find a helmet that I can use while riding vintage mini bikes, short commutes to work, etc. I have been on the fence about getting an Open face with a long shield or getting some type of entry level modular. I like that this is most of those options in one helmet. Now that its getting cooler my face will soon enjoy a full enclosure rather than the goggle/mx helmet setup I currently have for riding everywhere, and in the summer riding the cb125 I could use the open face feature.

I just ordered the AFX-FX41DS helmet. I needing something to replace my motorcross helmet in a pinch because the helmets I am really interested in are not out or available here yet. The NEXX helmet is one.

There's been no comments or experience with the Acerbis Active..? anyone....?

I like the look, and the prices I've found of the Acerbis..

I like the look of Nexx DS, but I currently have one of their XR1R with quick release shield it's nice fitting, decent build quality - however its loud and shield has flew off twice on the hwy now and I lost the hold downs...not the best when you are 3,000 miles from home and no one carries the parts.. those two black tabs on the DS - on the side of the visor just seem wrong...

And if it doesn't fit, are you able to ship it back with no issues?
Have you ever tried on an Arai, specifically and XD?
They fit my noggin the best, little tight in the cheeks
