Just visited with my dad over the weekend. He told me he's been hearing that SS would go under in 20 years, for over 40 years now. :lol3

i like to believe it, but if it doesn't go well, you guys will know....sell all but the xr400.

been working on the xr. fired it up the estart last night....vrooom, vrooom but it backfires. valve clearances on both in and ex are zero, i guess the valve remains partially opens when it cycles.

long 3 years, but it should be rolling by this weekend.

a few us riding to big bear from cajon pass. big or small bikes with at least 100 mile fuel range. mainly back roads and fire roads, lunch near the lake.

this is going to be a mellow ride (just like always). 2 of us will be doing a bike shakedown.

post up or PM if you want to join. prefer to keep the group small.

meet at McDs (15 and 138) and side stand up by 9am.

after 3 years of wrenching and slacking off, can't wait to get this little pig dirty
