CONTINUATION AND LATEST RIDE REPORTS ARE FOUND HERE


We have been blessed for having lots of riding area and surrounded by good people. Many of us have been riding together for over 4 years and we developed great friendships on and off our bikes, including on the net.

For 2012 and on, I would like to focus more on Adventure Riding, which involves traveling (camp or motel) and dirt riding combined.

The weekend riding will still be part of our riding activities, very much needed as a quick getaway or escape from the city life, get to see familiar PPs and welcome new riders. likewise, local riding is a great opportunity to improve our dirt skills.

We all know, those adventure bikes are meant for something, not just big dirt bikes. That said, hope to see more peeps to get aboard and join our future rides.

Really thankful to everyone for making this thread alive and enjoy some.

The intention is to provide an opportunity for individuals to meet other riders, plan rides, talk about upcoming events, post-ride reports, and discuss bikes and related equipment......

Hey Joel, I'll be up there on Saturday too. I think I'll goof around on Lynx and maybe go see how far up the BPL road I can get. Thing is I can't get out until the afternoon. Maybe I'll see you up there.

I'll be out there at some point Sat., but I'm going to Browns in Pomona at 8 to pick up my free R1200GS I'm going to win at the open house! (What optimism!) And test rides, too.

I down for a ride! School has been eating all my time latey and I haven't been riding much aside from between parked car on I-10 to and from school. Where is this mexican restaurant? (a address or GPS is best for me) Is Recon short cut open?

Just before you make a left turn to the street where the 7-11 is, there's a little business section on the left side, or go ahead and park your truck in front of the 7-11 and ride back to the mex restaurant (Ranch Side).

I think Rincon is still closed, but there's a neat trail that we did and this time I plan to do the loop which will bring us back to SCD. Should be home by noon, unless you want to stop for lunch at In-and Out on Sand Canyon.

Tomorrow's forecast is 75°F and cloudy. I like wearing armor and jacket so this condition is perfect for me. No worry about getting dehydrated and overheating.

Artboy, don't be shocked if they call my name as the winner of the brand new GS800 giveaway. Please tell them that I prefer the gray color.
