A bunch of us are going (25ish bikes to Nova Scotia from the NY area May 17th.
Any must see, do and rides on the way there and there?

We plan to leave the 17th, spend a night in Bangor Maine then get to NS the next day. We want to spend 2 nights there before heading back.

Any good seafood place in/around bangor that can seat 30ish people?

Seriously? That's not much time. Given that constraint I'd recommend skipping Nova Scotia proper and just heading up to Cape Breton to ride the Cabot Trail.

    Agree with Mark
That's a lot of riding for 4 days without a lot of time to see things - it's ~650 miles to the top of Cape Breton from Bangor.

I have some questions. How is the road quality on the Cabot Trail?

Would I be able to stealth camp?

Roads are well maintained, and during the summer you will see a lot of road work done to keep the in good conditions.
Don’t think you can stealth camp in Cape Bretton; it is national park. I would suggest staying at Meat Cove camp ground.

If you have time go to the fortress at Louisbourg. It is interesting and a beautiful location.

If you are going to just ride the trail then make sure when you drive to it, take a route that goes along the Fundy shore. very nice scenery and riding as well.
Cape D'Or and Parrsboro along the 209 is a great ride, twisty and along the water.
Then come back along Tatamagouche and Pictou when you return.

I just moved to the East Coast, New York City, and was planning a summer trip to Labrador. I was going to spend sometime in Nova Scotia as part of the loop. When are you looking to go?

Cabot trail is a must. One of the highest coastline views you will see on a ride and great twisties too. Research some of the eaterys along the route. Great places to eat too.
