1997 montesa Cota 315R Rear shock

    So has anyone rebulilt one of these, mine is apparently shot
    I know Lewisport sells rebuild kits but they recommend that you send it off to their approved shop to rebuild
    Just looking for advice

    Probably bounces like a pogo stick! Brewtus`s 4rt just went too shite recently too.

    Yup, sure did. Fine one weekend, pogo the next. Amazing what will happen after a bike sits in a garage for a week. :kboom

    If it's the same as my '01s shock it's put together about like any other moto shock. I had mine freshened up by my local honda dealer (back when I was in VA--awesome shop). It wasn't leaking, but I figured that after more than a decade it could probably use new fluid :lol3
